Are we required to submit Intrastat declarations?
Intrastat is a record of the import and export of goods between European Union countries. Every company that exceeds the limit set by the state has to submit a declaration to the authorities.
You must submit an Intrastat declaration every month. And it's quite easy to make mistakes in there. Fines can reach up to 50,000 € (rules for individual EU countries).
„When we did Intrastat ourselves,
I didn't sleep for 3 nights.“
Helmut Vajc, Wellcrafted
We think about the deadline for you
Intrastat has a deadline by which you must submit a declaration every month. And we fully understand that sometimes your head is full of other things to worry about.
That's why we remind you of the approaching deadline and contact you if you don't send us the required documents on time.
We won't submit an error-strewn report
We do our work with care. We have mechanisms in place to detect any errors in the documents before the declaration is submitted.
We check the documents and, if we find that the same mistakes keep cropping up, we'll teach you how to prevent them next time.
We know how Intrastat authorities run checks
We know the algorithms that the authorities use to check declarations.
Meaning that we know in advance the cases in which even a seemingly-flawless declaration will fail because of the unusual rules. We'll save you the unnecessary trouble.
We have liability insurance
According to European Union regulations, you are liable for incorrectly-filed Intrastat declarations and errors made by an accounting firm.
For this reason, we are insured for up to CZK 5 million and we contractually assume responsibility for any errors.
The price matches the work done
We review the amount of work done once a year.
And if the volume of work was far less than we had agreed, we'll reduce your price for the next year.
„Thanks to you, I only spend an hour of work
on Intrastat preparing every month.“
